Welcome to The Upper Room
Nestled in the heart of Pleasant Gap, PA, The Upper Room offers a unique church experience, gathering in a cozy house setting. Our mission is to create a close-knit community where everyone feels welcomed and spiritually nourished. We are an extension of Lifegate Baptist Church of Centre County.
Bible Study - to learn Christ
Bible Study provides an opportunity for in-depth exploration of Scripture in a welcoming and open discussion environment. We take time to delve into the Scriptures as God reveals the wonderful truths of His Word. Our Bible study sessions are held twice a week: on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM, prior to morning worship, and on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM.
Sunday Worship - to love Christ
We attempt to keep our worship as close as possible to the example set forth by the early New Testament church. As a result, we experience a unique worship experience that won't be found in many churches. We want The Upper Room to be a safe and welcoming place for all to come and worship Christ. Our Sunday worship services begins at 9:00 AM.
Community Outreach - to live Christ
You'll find us taking our faith to the streets Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM. Following the example of the Apostle Paul, we travel from door to door and house to house, as well as preach in public venues. This is a time to learn about the needs of our community and to share the wonderful Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Join us on December 20th for a time of street caroling - 6:00 PM.
